Two Course Lunch

An elegant two-course lunch guided by your choice of dishes, thoughtfully paired with award-winning wines. Estate-grown ingredients and peak-harvest produce from local farming partners define each plate, reflecting depth and diversity of the Okanagan’s orchards and fields at their seasonal peak. Served al fresco above vineyard rows descending to Okanagan Lake.

Three Course Dinner

A deeper exploration of the valley’s bounty, curated across three courses and paired with distinguished estate wines. The garden speaks; the kitchen listens — crafting plates that honour regenerative farming and biodiversity, shaped by ingredients harvested just steps from our kitchen and select Okanagan growers. Each course is precisely composed around the wines, with structure and acidity guiding flavour, texture, and technique.

Chef’s Tasting

A visionary five-course tasting that captures Okanagan Valley bounty at its seasonal peak. Each dish is meticulously composed around Mission Hill’s most distinguished wines, shaped by what grows within walking distance of the kitchen and select farming partners. Rooted in zero-waste philosophy, this is a rarefied culinary experience, where the valley’s produce, the season, and the wines reach their fullest expression.

The Lounge

Every lounge experience includes a glass of Reserve white, rosé, or red wine, paired with a seasonal bite from the kitchen. From this first offering, guests are invited to add à la carte selections of wine and small plates.

We had lunch here and tried the Wagyu beef, beet salad, scallops, and duck breast — everything was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. The wine pairing elevated each course perfectly. The outdoor dining area is stunning, with gorgeous vineyard views that make the experience even more memorable. Service was warm and attentive, with staff who clearly care about creating a great experience. A must-visit spot in Kelowna.

An utterly enchanting experience, dining at the most iconic winery in the province includes a European-inspired setting throughout. Resembling a terrazzo, the covered terracotta dining space is a long hall filled with tables and a balcony that reveals views of the lake and the beautiful Mission Hill grounds. ... Dining in an Italian-inspired al fresco space and enjoying pasta with a glass of pinot gris is about as European an experience as you can find in B.C.

When the valley thrives, we thrive. This motto drives Chef Patrick Gayler’s culinary practices — the ingredients he uses grow in the same terroir as our vineyards. With his close relationships with local farms and farmers, the Terrace Restaurant features in-season, fresh plates. By working with our winemakers, the culinary team ensures these plates are paired thoughtfully to the wine you are served.

When Chef Patrick’s not visiting local farms, running the Terrace Restaurant’s kitchen, or overseeing canning, pickling, and curing, he tends to the estate garden. Beehives, a herb garden, and an orchard are all products of the sustainable practices upheld at Mission Hill Family Estate.

Chef de Cuisine

As a young cook, Heather travelled to Rome to work in a Michelin star restaurant and left inspired by the high level of execution and determination found amongst the team. She returned to Canada keen to see where the industry could take her and swiftly moved again from Toronto to Kelowna to experience the Okanagan Valley. 

Since joining the team in 2015, Heather’s passion for fine dining has only grown as she has discovered the quality ingredients that the Okanagan has to offer. In her current role as Chef de Cuisine Heather works closely with farmers, foragers and local artisans to source out and utilize only seasonal products. Each summer she embraces the challenges that come with operating a seasonal restaurant and is constantly looking for ways to further the culinary program at Mission Hill.
