2021 Oculus Release
Since the first vintage in 1997, Oculus has marked milestones both personal and historic. Our 2021 vintage embodies the precision and patience required to craft Canada’s most iconic Bordeaux-style wine. The fruit was hand-selected at top southern estate vineyard blocks with each berry optically sorted, gravity-fed into French oak and concrete fermenters, and matured for nineteen months in French oak before resting an additional two years in bottle.
Every vintage of Oculus is the culmination of decades of perseverance. This is the story of resilience: a dream realized, a struggle overcome, and a vision fulfilled.
