The Iconic Après Lounge, an open-air gathering in the Village Plaza, next to Dizzy’s, across from the Village Centre Mall, will showcase wines from Mission Hill Family Estate, Martins Lane Winery, CedarCreek Estate Winery, CheckMate Artisanal Winery, Road 13 Vineyards, Red Barn, and Liquidity Wines. Guests are invited to enjoy wines by the glass and light bites available for purchase with live entertainment from DJ Invizible and an interactive photo booth.
“We thrive when creating memorable moments for our guests around our wine,” said Charlie Drummond, Senior Estate Manager, Mission Hill Family Estate. “Partnering with our sister estates to bring our family-owned wineries to the slopeside at Big White felt like a natural fit and one we knew mountain goers and our members would truly enjoy. There’s something special about the pairing of exceptional wines and champagne powder, and we felt that enjoying it in a unique resort setting was just that.”
Opening Thursday, February 26 at 1:00 p.m., the Iconic Après Lounge will welcome guests daily from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through Sunday, March 1. Wine club members of the participating wineries will receive priority access and enjoy exclusive pours throughout the weekend. The experience is open to all guests 19+.

This four-day experience also includes two collaboration dinners. On Wednesday, February 25, Mission Hill Family Estate Executive Chef Patrick Gayler partners with Big White Executive Chef Boddie Macklin-Shaw for an exclusive multi-course dinner at the newly re-opened Kettle Valley Steak House, paired with Mission Hill Family Estate wines. Tickets are $199 CAD per person; reservations available online.
On Saturday, February 28, 6 Degrees Bistro hosts a six-course wine-paired dinner featuring selections from all seven participating wineries. Limited to only 28 guests, tickets for this intimate experience is priced at $240 CAD per person, plus applicable taxes and gratuity. Reservations will open to the public in February.
The Iconic Après experience extends throughout Big White Village, with featured wines available all weekend at Kettle Valley Steak House, The Woods, 6 Degrees Bistro, Fat Marmot, Bullwheel, Sopra Italian Kitchen, and Black Diamond — inviting guests to explore the wines across multiple dining destinations.
Designed to unite alpine culture with the winemaking heritage of the Okanagan Valley, this collaboration offers a unique opportunity to experience distinguished wines in a mountain setting. Big White Ski Resort is located just 55 minutes from Kelowna International Airport and is celebrated for its Okanagan champagne powder.
