IN ADDITION TO THE EXCITING NEW VINTAGES AVAILABLE IN THE MISSION HILL TASTING ROOM, MICHAEL JOSS RECENTLY ANNOUNCED SEVERAL OTHER NEW ADDITIONS TO THE ADJACENT WINE SHOP.

"You'll want to take a jar or two of our estate-bottled preserves home with you," the jocular Joss says, rhyming off local vanilla-bean pears, cherries in Oculus, plum and pinot noir sauce, and peach chutney. We take one of each. There will be more varieties available as fresh fruit begins to crowd the winery's kitchens. The Wine Shop will also feature a care fully selected collection of food and wine books, and wine accessories.

"I'm delighted that Jackie Cooke rejoins the team as one of our sommeliers in the Estate Room. And this season Jon Randle will be joining her as our second sommelier," Joss says. "Jon is also a Guild-certified sommelier and spent the past eight years with the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto. We hope that our guests will use their guidance through our entire port folio, and select some wines to take home, or simply back to their hotel balcony," Joss adds.
