  • ISG Course - WCFL1

    International Sommelier Guild Courses at Mission Hill.

    Mission Hill Family Estate Campus, West Kelowna
    8 week course, Mondays at 6:00-9:00pm
    Beginning April 16th, 2012

    This introductory course is designed for the novice wine enthusiast. Whether building on an existing career in hospitality or enhancing your enjoyment of wines, the curriculum of the ISG Wine Fundamentals 1 provides an introduction to the basic aspects of sensory evaluation; wine appearance, aroma, and flavour. The course will cover the major grapes used for making wine and their discerning characteristics as well as an introduction to fortified and sparkling wines.

    ISG Wine Fundamentals 1 is a prerequisite to ISG Wine Fundamentals 2 and the final Sommelier Diploma.
