Pinehill is the only winery-owned vineyard on the western side of the valley. This vineyard has a unique microclimate with good aspects, sloping gently to the south, resulting in maximum sun exposure for the fruit. Its topography is a natural bowl that shelters the vines from wind. Soil type is fine sand with a loamy character.
At only 12 acres, the upper half of this estate is reserved for reds while the lower half is planted with white varietals.
